Blogging

The topic is, does blogging about making our game match the class and is it helpful or not needed? Personally I think it is not needed. Our learning logs take care of needing to know what we did and how we do it. Although I could see where they thought it would work, it was a good thought but it takes away to much time from making the game. This class is hard enough and blogging makes it even harder and more stressful.

Animation

Today I learned how to move my red ball up and down using keyframes. It was quite simple after watching the short video. All you do is insert a layer and use keyframes and there you have it.

Navigation keys

Adding navigation is very important when making a game. You have to know all the buttons you can use to make the game properly. To find how to use the navigation keys you can go to http://www.thesitewizard.com/wizards/css-menu-buttons.shtml.

How to use keyframes

Keyframes are very important when trying to make a game. You use them by clicking the open circle and dragging it to what ever number you want. That will then make your game start moving if all your codes are right. keyframes are probably one of the most important things needed to create a game.

video prototype

The video prototype is important because it gives you an idea of what your game is going to look like. It helps you and your partener what else you need to add or take away from the game you are going to make.

Mini Game

Today I worked on my mini game and I finished it! It was a constant battle to get the bunny to move up and down. I finally figured out how to do it though. Now I am ready to move on to the next step of this class.

Zacks Blog

I think Zacks blog was very interesting. He did have some strange picture but other than that it was very good. It was very understandable and detailed. His blog gave me some good ideas on what games to play and where to go to play them.
